Investment Week is pleased to present our Market Focus 2015: Bond event taking place on Thursday 9th July 2015. We will once again be showcasing a range of strategies for investors in this asset class.
Many investors were wrong footed by fixed income markets last year and 2015 has proved to be equally challenging. Multi-speed central bank monetary policy across the globe has created highly unusual scenarios for bond markets, including around a fifth of government debt and the corporate bonds of companies such as Nestlé and Royal Dutch Shell trading on negative yields. Money has continued to pour into fixed income strategies this year, leaving investors even more exposed to events like interest rate rises in some countries.
During this event, we will hear from fund managers about how they are playing these highly unusual markets, as well as trying to cushion portfolios from future shocks.
Our intimate boardroom sessions allow delegates to quiz the fund managers, whilst the breaks and lunches enable networking with fellow investors.

A great way to meet eight managers in a single day

Great event, fixed income is the biggest question most portfolio managers have, how to position going forward. The funds and main economic insights have been very diverse and extremely useful

Great to hear from a broad spread of managers, particulary those I was less familiar with
